I have to admit, I am really enjoying making the hollow beads for this Trio necklace. Playing with different colour combinations is a lot of fun. I slide the beads onto soft leather cord so this necklace is comfortable and easy to wear all day long.
Inspiration for this necklace came from my recent vacation in Tennessee and Kentucky, where there’s a lot more leather and suede in jewellery. I love combining the earthiness of leather with the lightness of glass. (Yes, lightness: these beads are hollow!) This piece would look great against a linen top or a classic white t-shirt.
I really dislike heavy earrings, and yet the little bitty minimalist ones don’t always show nicely. These earrings are just right: a lightweight dash of colour at the end of silver earwires that I make by hand.
This glass has a double life…it’s not only a gorgeous purple in sunlight, it turns light blue under fluorescent light! It’s purple in any other kind of light. Enjoy hearing your friends go “oooh” when you show them how it works!
This is the necklace you put on when you look in the mirror at your gray or black or white or ivory top and say, “Hmm…this needs something.” And you put it on, nod with approval, and head out.
I love these bracelets…the colours swirl around the beads and the bracelet swirls around your wrist. I use memory wire and latex-free rubber to make this bracelet comfy and clasp-free!
I love beach glass, with its smooth edges and frosted look. I wanted to give these earrings the same feeling, like sitting by the ocean on a summer’s day.
This pendant is made with a glass called Magic, and I love how it changes colour in the flame! I made it hollow so it’s lighter than it looks.
